Welcome to my online portfolio where you will find a selection of my work. I am a Dutch foreign correspondent based in South Africa. I work for print, radio and tv. At the moment I publish and broadcast, among others, as correspondent/stringer for daily newspaper De Pers (www.depers.nl), Radio Netherlands Worldwide (www.radionetherlands.nl), tv-station RTL Nieuws (www.rtlnieuws.nl), BNR Nieuwsradio (www.bnr.nl) and the magazines OnzeWereld (www.onzewereld.nl) and IS (www.isonline.nl).




Het talent van Kagiso Porto
Zuid-Afrika organiseert als eerste Afrikaanse land een WK maar is zelf niet de ster van het continent. Een gebrek aan ontwikkeling van jong talent en gemotiveerde coaches op de grond zijn daar onder meer debet aan.
 


Afrika juicht voor Ghana
Dit moest hét WK voor Afrika worden. Maar de teams doen het niet al te best. Ghana is nu de voornaamste hoop.
